Balkerne Asset Management are a financial services company who needed a site to manage the flow of information between them and their clients and prospective customers. The design was provided by Marc De'ath of the Creative Coop, and the site was built in Drupal 6 in order to provide to the client the ability to manage their own content after go-live.
This site also features one of those elements where I made my own life much harder through ignorance! The navigation menu on the left-hand side is javascript-based, with items expanding to reveal sub-items. I had never heard of jQuery, and I used a Drupal module called collapsiblock to accomplish this, and together with some customizations required by the client it turned out to consume close to half of the development time for the entire site!
